![]() Enemies getting out from walls, going and hitting you through textures, etc. There are a lot of bugs, and I'm 100% sure that they are aware of them and address them maybe some big ones even before the release tomorrow. I still haven't found a build that suits my gameplay, because I still couldn't figure out how the game works, after 8 hours of playing. I don't know why there are no mid-area checkpoints because you can die so easily. ![]() There is one checkpoint in every area, which can be really really punishing since you need hours to clean or explore one area. Given the fact that three people worked on this game, and still working, it is really good, but it really needs to be worked on, and I really hope that they will manage to address some of the issues people have. I can see that sometimes my char does it without even knowing what I did or clicked to do that. For example, I still don't know how to do combos. Yes, I know that it should not be a bad thing at all, but again, this game has some strange mechanic that makes you scratch your head until you figure it out and accept it as a "part of the design" not a gameplay mechanic problem. I'm following the game on twitch, and many players do not know what kills them and how the game works because it does not inform you. No leveling, everything depends on the perks and abilities that you're equipping and of equipment you're choosing to wear, no duplicates, but gameplay-wise, it needs to be worked on. The truth is that the whole idea behind this one is really interesting. But again, it does not feel like any other game of this type when you have a light build character. You're floaty if you're light, you're not floaty if you're heavy. I'm waiting for a pre-release patch that needs to be released in the next couple of hours where they gonna fix the floatiness of the character, but it's been said that it's part of the design. And from a design perspective (level design) it looks really really intriguing, but as for gameplay, it feels off, most of the time, really really off. So take your absolutist opinions and ♥♥♥♥ right off.I really expected this to be good, at least good enough to play through it. The fact is that you're absolutely wrong and the people who play souls games for reasons OTHER than what YOU DO want to know if THIS game will appeal to them, which is entirely fair. Some for the lore, some for the combat, some for the invasions, some of the pvp (different than invasions), some for fashion, and MANY for any combination of these. People play souls games for a plethora of reasons. It's incredible when people think their view is the only correct view and anything else is "wrong". Please tell me more about why I play souls games. The argument I made was that for those interested in it, it extends the life of the game and adds replayability. No one said fashion-souls was the POINT of the game. Simply because that is not what makes a souls game a souls game. You can enjoy whatever you want, but when an indie developer tries to give a fresh spin on the souls formula with a limited budged, don't expect to have over 9000 wigs, face editor and over 9000 armour pieces. Simply put, character customisation is not the main point of a souls-like game. You can claim that this is what makes the game fun for you, but it is simply not the point of the game. To give you an analogy, you can say that killing your sims in various ways is a thing in SIMS games and that's what makes your heart sing and makes you want to start a new game with a fresh family to kill every now and then, but it is not the main point of SIMS games. You don't play a souls game to make Shrek-like abominations or make your anime waifus. Originally posted by Phallus Magnus:Fashion souls is a gimmick.
